Estonian Ambassador visits Omniva Group’s Kaunas sorting centre

The Estonian Ambassador to Lithuania, Kaili Terras, accompanied by Counsellor Merje Stanciene, visited Omniva Group’s state-of-the-art Kaunas sorting centre this week. The visit provided an opportunity to gain insight into the facility’s cutting-edge operations and ambitious sustainability goals. 

The visit, hosted by Mart Mägi, CEO of Omniva Group, and board member Kastytis Valantinas (COO), showcased the innovative logistics hub and its role in enhancing the company’s pan-Baltic and international services.  

Ambassador Kaili Terras praised the Kaunas facility, noting its significance for the region: “I was very impressed by the Omniva logistics center in Kaunas, which although an Estonian investment, has become a pan-Baltic company. The logistics center’s modern solution and innovation-oriented business model provide the necessary competition and improve the overall level of service for the customer.”  

During the visit, the ambassador was introduced to how the sorting centre operates and how investments from Estonian companies strengthen and enhance Baltic cooperation and mutual benefits. 

Mart Mägi emphasized Omniva’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, stating: “Omniva is an innovative company with an established international footprint. This new center was built with ESG and sustainability goals in mind, reflecting our commitment to environmentally responsible growth.” 

The Kaunas Sorting Centre represents Omniva’s vision for the future of logistics in the Baltic region, aligning with both operational excellence and environmental stewardship.
