Omniva invests €3.6 million and adds 135 new parcel machines to its network

Omniva Group, the leading logistics and parcel delivery service provider in the Baltics, will complete the next phase of its parcel machine network expansion in January. A total of 3.6 million eur has been invested, resulting in the installation or replacement of 135 parcel machines.
In this expansion round, 75 new locations, 60 replacement machines, and 75 expansion modules are included. This means nearly 9,000 new lockers will be added to the network, significantly enhancing service capacity and convenience for customers.
“At Omniva, we are dedicated to making our services more accessible to a wider audience – not only by expanding our parcel machine network but also by providing efficient solutions for traditional postal services, such as the personal postal service. This investment is a crucial step toward achieving that goal. By growing our network and bringing new partners into our ecosystem, we are making it easier for customers to access our services while enhancing the overall parcel delivery experience across the Baltics,” said Mart Mägi, CEO of Omniva Group.
This investment will further strengthen Omniva’s market position, with the new parcel machines distributed across the three Baltic countries as follows: 15 new locations in Estonia, 20 in Latvia, and 40 in Lithuania. With this expansion, Omniva will operate the largest parcel machine network in the Baltics, comprising 1,321 parcel machines and 172,000 lockers.
In a significant development, Omniva has established a new partnership with Lidl, one of the largest retailers in the region, to expand its presence in the Latvian and Lithuanian markets. As part of this collaboration, Omniva parcel machines will be installed next to various Lidl stores, offering customers greater convenience and flexibility for sending and receiving parcels.
“These investments are a natural extension of our commitment to innovation and our mission to develop world-class infrastructure for our clients and business partners. Our major investments, including the new Kaunas logistics center (€42 million), the modernization of the postal network, and the increasing utilization of the ‘personal postal service’ in Estonia – which has been widely adopted – combined with the further expansion of our parcel machine network, represent key milestones in our dedicated journey toward global markets,” stated Mart Mägi.
