Omniva named Postal Operator of the Year
Omniva, international technology and logistics group, has been named Postal Operator of the Year at the 2026 World Post & Parcel Awards, presented during WMX Europe – one of the postal, parcel and logistics industry’s most prestigious international events.
The award recognises Omniva’s successful transformation from a traditional postal operator into a technology-driven intrnational logistics company, highlighting its leadership in innovation, operational excellence and customer-focused services.
Over the past years, Omniva has fundamentally reshaped its business model. Today, 95% of the company’s revenue comes from commercial services, reflecting its successful evolution beyond traditional postal operations. Operating worldwide, Omniva continues to strengthen its position through digital services, advanced logistics technologies and an expanding international parcel business.
The company’s transformation has delivered strong business results. In 2025, Omniva generated €155 million in revenue, returned to profitability, increased parcel volumes by 11%, and grew its international business by 64% year-on-year.
“This recognition is a proud moment for everyone at Omniva. Awards are never the goal, but they are a valuable confirmation that we are moving in the right direction. Our transformation from a traditional postal operator into a digital logistics leader has been possible thanks to the dedication of our people, the trust of our customers and partners, and our continuous focus on innovation. We are honoured by this recognition, but our work continues,” said Martti Kuldma, CEO of Omniva.
Omniva’s transformation has been driven by continuous investment in technology, infrastructure and customer experience. Recent milestones include the expansion of same-day delivery services, the growth of the Picapac close-to-home parcel locker network, crowd-powered last-mile delivery, enhanced digital self-service solutions, and the launch of the €42 million Kaunas Logistics Centre. The company is also investing in next-generation capabilities, including AI-based route planning and dynamic pricing, to further improve efficiency and customer experience.
The company has also been recognised by the Universal Postal Union as the most advanced postal operator in its region for four consecutive years, underlining its strong operational performance and international competitiveness.
Receiving the Postal Operator of the Year award marks another important milestone in Omniva’s journey to build a scalable, technology-driven logistics platform that delivers reliable, convenient and sustainable services for customers across the Baltics and beyond.
