Omniva opened logistics terminal at Tallinn Airport, more than doubling its operating space

Omniva has officially opened a new logistics terminal at Airport City, Tallinn Airport’s business campus, more than doubling its operating space. At the official opening, Omniva and Tallinn Airport also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop international air cargo connections.

Omniva began operating at the new terminal ahead of its official opening. The company now occupies nearly 1,500 square metres, compared with approximately 700 square metres at its previous location. The larger, purpose-adapted facility enables Omniva to handle higher volumes of air cargo while providing improved working conditions for employees.

One of Omniva’s goals is to support export growth from the Baltics. In the first half of 2026, the company’s international middle-mile revenue outside the Baltics grew by 39% year-on-year. The new terminal provides additional capacity to handle international cargo flows and support further growth.

“The terminal at Tallinn Airport is much more than just a cargo handling facility for Omniva – it is our gateway to the world. By international standards, the terminal may not be particularly large, but its significance cannot be measured in square metres alone. In Estonia, we are used to turning small opportunities into big achievements. We see the same potential here: to increase international cargo flows and strengthen Estonia’s connections with the rest of the world. Our cooperation with Tallinn Airport puts us in a stronger position to achieve this,” said Sven Kukemelk, Chief Commercial Officer and Member of the Management Board at Omniva.

The MoU signed at the official opening aims to strengthen international air cargo connections via Tallinn and lay the groundwork for developing regular, commercially viable long-haul cargo flights.

The partnership brings together Omniva’s international logistics operations and customer network with Tallinn Airport’s route development expertise and infrastructure capabilities. Omniva will focus primarily on identifying new cargo flows and working with international postal, e-commerce and logistics partners. The shared objective is to create better opportunities for Estonian businesses to move goods across international markets.

According to Veiko Keerberg, Chairman of the Management Board of Airport City, providing businesses with solutions tailored to their operational needs is essential.

“Our priority is to provide air cargo operators with modern facilities suited to their needs. People and a good working environment are extremely important, but it is equally essential to create conditions that support businesses in achieving their commercial objectives, handling cargo efficiently and continuing to grow,” said Keerberg.

Omniva’s new terminal is located at Valukoja 32/4 in the Airport City business campus. The premises were adapted to Omniva’s operational requirements in cooperation with Airport City and Tallinn Airport.
