Tadas Drunga Appointed to Lead Omniva’s Team in Lithuania

As of September 1, Tadas Drunga has taken on the role of Omniva’s Lithuanian team lead within the international postal and logistics group. He will combine these new responsibilities with his current position as Head of International Business Development, a role he has held for the past four years since joining the Omniva Group.

“Lithuania is one of Omniva’s strategically important markets, with significant growth potential. By appointing Tadas Drunga to lead the local team, we aim to strengthen our focus on service quality, innovation, and team development,” says Signe Kukin, Member of the Omniva Group Management Board and CEO of Omniva companies in Lithuania and Latvia.

Drunga has extensive experience in business development and implementing logistics innovations, with a strong focus on the international business segment. His leadership in Lithuania will further support the delivery of solutions that address evolving customer needs and market trends.

“This summer, Omniva in Lithuania reached a record parcel volume – a clear sign that the market is becoming increasingly unpredictable, requiring us to be more agile than ever. In the first half of this year alone, parcel flows grew by 7% compared to last year. With our peak season – the winter holidays – still ahead, we are preparing for even stronger growth, with a particular focus on process quality,” notes Drunga.

He also highlights that by the end of 2025, two innovative projects will be piloted in Lithuania: community parcel lockers and a crowd delivery model. Crowd delivery will allow individuals to contribute to parcel delivery on flexible schedules, similar to food delivery platforms. Meanwhile, community parcel lockers – operating without electricity or internet – will ensure convenient parcel collection even in remote areas.

“Both projects are designed with customer convenience and accessibility in mind. Our goal is to get closer to people and provide faster, more convenient services,” adds Drunga.
